At Wide Hollow STEAM Elementary, Students Receive Intervention In Real Time Within the Classroom

At Wide Hollow STEAM, students receive intervention within the classroom. A few years ago, students would be pulled out and taken to an office or open room, and unfortunately leave in the middle of instruction and miss out on valuable information. Now our amazing staff supports English Language Learners (ELL), students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and students needing extra help from our Learning Assistance Program (LAP) all in the same room at the same time. The strategies and instruction are fantastic for all students and our station rotations allow for small group instruction with targeted intervention. This is what inclusion looks like at Wide Hollow Elementary, and we are proud of this work and our staff who provide these services.
